Few Facts Behind High Precision UAV Antenna

What kind of antenna performance is more attractive to UAV users? 1.     Antenna Gain Bandwidth
Passive antenna gain bandwidth determines whether the UAVs can receive reliable GNSS signals around the world, by comparison, the gain bandwidth of Harxon D-Helix passive antenna is far superior to other similar UAV antennas in the market.
                                                       

2.     Antenna at Low Elevation Angle Performance
A variety of environment occlusion may occur during the UAV flight, for example, the flight attitude becomes unstable due to the taking off or turning of UAV. According to this situation, a higher capability of receiving signals at low elevation angles for UAVs is required, only the optimal antenna beam can effectively reduce the probability of abnormal positioning data.

4.     Antenna Outlet Structure
Harxon D-Helix Antenna is using the RF outlet assembling at the bottom, the antenna can be mounted on the fuselage or arm of the UAV. Compare with the side outlet mode, the bottom outlet mode can simplify the UAV structure design and improve water resistance, as well as the anti-interference ability of the antenna. Compared with the actual measurement, Harxon D-Helix Antenna can receive the signals from all constellations, at the same time, it also supports the satellite-based differential signals. The D-Helix Antenna is significantly better than the same type of antennas at the gain bandwidth, and its excellent low-elevation performance ensures a high-precision positioning in a variety of shading environments. The RTK fixed unlocking rate is twice as fast as conventional survey antennas, and the positioning accuracy is improved by a factor of three in complex environments.
